I was born in Ruislip England. My Dad is a retired Air Force Chief and I spent most of my life overseas. I went to England 3 different times as a kid spending 11 1/2 years there total. By the time I came back to the U.S. at age 15 I had only spent 3 years of my life in the States! I enlisted in the Air Force at age 19 on Sept 22 1988. After Basic Training and Technical school I was assigned to Spangdahlem AB Germany. My wife and I arrived there in Feb of 1989 and immediately fell in love with the base the country and the people. I was deployed to Operation Desert Storm in 1991 and later on in 1994 to Italy/Operation Deny Flight in support of UN and NATO operations over the former Yugoslavia. While stationed at Spangdahlem I worked F-16's, F-4G's, A-10's and F-15C's. I've also been TDY to places like Denmark, England etc. and some stateside TDY's such as Red Flag. I left Germany in Dec 1996 after 8 awesome years and relocated to Holloman AFB NM to work the Stealth. Since I've been here I've been deployed to Kuwait in Feb 1998 in support of Operation Desert Thunder and to Italy in Feb 1999 (4 months for each) in support of Operation Allied Force/Noble Anvil to lay the smack down on Slobodan Milosovich again. Which we did quite nicely thank you. Operation Allied force is the only war in U.S. history to be won by Air Power alone. Pretty proud of that one. I've also been on some smaller stateside TDY's while stationed at Holloman. Most recently I was deployed from 31 Jan 2003-21 April to the Gulf Region with the F-117A in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I first learned about Falcon 4.0 while deployed to Kuwait in early 1998 while reading PC gamer. They had a preview article about Falcon 4.0 including screen shots. I decided right then and there i was going to save up money to by the best computer I could afford so that I could fly Falcon 4.

Ever since I can remember I've always wanted to be an AF Fighter Pilot. I thought I didn't stand a chance because of my eyesight. By the time I found out I could be waivered I was already enlisted with a couple of years in and committed to my job as a Sheet Metal Mechanic. I should have asked more questions and tried harder. Falcon is as close as I'll ever get now to flying the real thing and I can't get enough of this awesome flight sim!

I started playing Falcon 4.0 in the fall of 1999. I had never even owned a computer and bought the best one I could at the time just to be able to play Falcon. In the summer of 2001, after much searching, I finally found the 56th VFW (actually the 27th VFW at the time), by reading a post that Casual had made on the F4 Community Forum. I liked what Casual had to say and promptly visited the 27th's website. After reading about the 27th I really liked the "feel" of the Wing and the ideals they aspired to. I knew this was the place I wanted to start my online flying career and wasted no time submitting my application to Panic the 523rd Crusaders (63rd Panthers) Commanding Officer. The rest, as they say, is history.
